Hi,

I really really hope you have a contact at Boleskine House because from what I can tell we will be politely to bugger off.

Quate from SpookyStuff.co.uk

"Boleskine House Today
Crowley eventually sold Boleskine House, though it has retained its spiritual significance to practitioners of the Thelemic faith. After his departure, the building fell into decay, though in the 1970s it was bought and restored by the legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist and reputed Crowley obsessive, Jimmy Page. Boleskine House even featured in the Led Zeppelin video The Song Remains the Same. In the 1990s, the building was sold again. It is now a private residence and its owner continually complains of having to fend of the legions of Crowley devotees who regularly turn up on his doorstep"

Other web sources from people how have tried go see the place seem to indicate this is true. So as far as I can see, we have two options. A bit of Urban Exploration, which will probably result in a night in the cells, at least or finding the owner and making a deal.

I don't want to sound pessimistic, but I also would not like any of our group to face criminal charges. But otherwise I am all up for it :-)

It would be interesting to go see the place but as Douglas has said very well there has been a lot of trouble with getting the owner of the property to agree to letting visitors round it.

I have to admit I am with Douglas on this one... There is no point going there, to end up instead having a night in the cells... which is really not good for the site nor good for our own street cred! lol.. but maybe someone could contact the owners and ask if we can at least go for a walk up to the graveyard, instead, if they arent keen on people going into their house, which to be honest I dont really blame them for.

Where there is a will, there is a way, always remember that! ;)

I agree, if we just politely ask, and maybe say something about it helping our spiritual path. The worst they can do is say no.

I think its a bit futile, they dont welcome visitors and keep a very low profile. I would be cool to look round though if invited. If you are looking for an active place, try Redcastle near Tore :)
